Junior School

It is Cobram Anglican Grammar School's job to prepare every child to meet the challenges of a changing world with courage and confidence. The overarching aim of our Junior School is to offer a safe and happy place, where everyone is known and valued, and where differing needs are acknowledged, accepted and met.

Our Foundation transition to school through the 'School Readiness Program' ensures that all students that attend Cobram Anglican Grammar School are developing the spiritual, physical, mental and social capabilities to assist them to reach their full potential and become lifelong learners.

Newly appointed Head of Junior School, Mrs Fiona Clark, has a clear vision to provide high quality education in a safe, respectful and inclusive environment that builds a foundation for life-long learning.

"My wish is for students to experience a positive, inclusive and safe journey through their primary years. All staff members, in partnership with parents and families, will be fully committed to empowering students to meet current and future challenges, to develop social awareness, civic responsibility, and personal growth."

Foundation to Year 6 Junior School | Teaching and Learning

Junior School is based around an integrated curriculum that stimulates creativity and curiosity. Our students are offered an enriching, caring and inclusive educational environment. Strategies to promote independence, collaboration, adaptability, resilience, creativity, optimism and responsibility are embedded in everyday learning.

From Foundation (Prep), we establish a strong sense of belonging and cooperation that exists both in the classroom and in the playground. This is of critical importance in creating a harmonious and cohesive environment which translates to a culture of learning.
