Senior School

Cobram Anglican Grammar School is very proud to be able to offer a uniquely tailored and flexible VCE program. One of the benefits of being a Foundation to Year Twelve school is that we establish very strong relationships with our students over a significant period of their educational and personal development. These relationships assist in us being able to identify suitable pathways for individual students that marry successful educational outcomes with their unique preferences and abilities.

At Cobram AGS we encourage the pursuit of academic excellence within the context of being a community orientated institution. Our students have a broad range of abilities accompanying a broad range of goals for life post formal schooling. Whilst we emphasise the value of obtaining the VCE as the foundation of our Senior School program, through some fantastic relationships with external providers, we can also facilitate students incorporating more hands on pathways such as school based apprenticeships and TAFE course whilst pursing their VCE.

Students that demonstrate exceptional academic performance are invited to undertake VCE units early in order to build a pathway that allows for an increased number of opportunities to improve their ATAR score, and or, a reduced load in Year Twelve.
This reduced load in the final year of study can provide a significant competitive advantage for these students, particularly with regard to exam preparation! All of this, when combined with our passionate team of educators and quality pastoral support program, make Cobram Anglican Grammar School your local leader in providing high quality Secondary School education

In the Senior Years at Cobram AGS, students are provided with a challenging academic programme which prepares them for and engages them in the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE).

We are pleased to be able to offer a broad rance of subjects at VCE level, taught by very experienced staff. Small classes, allow students a great deal of individual attention and assistance.

Senior School | Teaching & Learning

The Senior School continues to build upon partnerships in education between teachers, parents and students where everyone is valued and respected as a contributor.

The focus in Senior School is to ensure students are prepared for their final years of school, VCE and beyond. This is achieved by working with each student individually and guiding them through the important choices that are made in this phase of schooling.
