Rotary extends its gratitude

We were fortunate to welcome to our campus, Ian Collins and Ellie Stephens from the Rotary Club of Cobram. The pair personally thanked a small group of Year 11 and 12 students who kindly volunteered to work the barbeque at Rotary's Swap Meet back in August.

Ian and Ellie kindly presented the School with a certificate of appreciation to show their gratitude for the students' act of community service. Ellie (Vice President of Cobram Rotary) thanked Cobram AGS for getting involved in the Swap Meet, pointing out that many hands make light work and create a better experience for patrons.

"It was a very successful day and we couldn't have done it without the sponsors and organisations that volunteered. The money we raise goes back into the community so we all benefit," Ellie said.

Ellie also mentioned that Rotary are looking forward to working closely with our new Captain of Community Service Caitlin Welch to drive positive outcomes for our local area by capitalising on the School's community focus.
