Remembrance Day 2020

Harper and Mae Stubberfield today shared the story of their Great Great Uncle Jack Black with us at Cobram Anglican Grammar School. Both Harper and Mae have a photo of Warrant Officer Class 1, Regional Sergeant Major Jack Morrison who represented our country in World War One, Korea, and Vietnam.

If a photograph could tell a thousand words, these two certainly have a tale. Harper's photo shows Jack training the troops at the Canungra Jungle Camp in preparation for Vietnam. Mae's photo is of Jack with the Marching Girls Band in Melbourne. Both Harper and Mae are very proud of their Great Great Uncle Jack who was awarded two DCM for Bravery, Leadership and Devotion to Duty.

Even more so today on the 11th November 2020 as we pay respect, remember, and honor the Australian Servicemen and Servicewomen who served for our country.
