One-hundred down, but plenty more to come

On Friday 5 August 2022, our Foundation students celebrated a major milestone by reaching 100 days of schooling!

To mark this momentous occasion the students dressed up as 100-year-olds, with some seriously impressive outfits on show! Mrs Kennedy said while the dress up theme added a fun component, the day offered the Foundation cohort an important opportunity to celebrate the joys of learning and being at school together.

"It's the students' first major milestone and it's really nice that both Foundation classes can come together to do different activities and basically just enjoy each other's company and recognise the many wonders of learning, particularly in these formative years which are so important for their development," Mrs Kennedy said.

In the lead up to Friday the Foundation students completed a series of activities related to the number 100 such as what they would do if they had $100 to spend, 100 puzzles and snakes and ladders to 100.
