Mum's the word

The PAC was a sea of mums and other special women as we held our annual Mother’s Day Breakfast in the PAC. It was great to finally be in a position where we could hold an event of this size and then to see so many members of the school community come together and celebrate an occasion such as Mother’s Day.

It’s fair to say the breakfast itself was a sizzling success as our Year 12 students took the reins and cooked delicious egg and bacon rolls for all our special women to enjoy. Thank you to Mrs White and Mr Willett for assisting in the kitchen and on the BBQ respectively.

Guests were also treated to coffees to take off the cold chill and the morning ended on a winning note as several attendees were fortunate enough to walk out with some awesome lucky door prizes from D’Vine Ideas. Overall it was a wonderful morning enjoyed by all and we look forward to the Father’s Day instalment later in the year.

In addition to the breakfast, our P&F ran a Mother’s Day Stall over two days and as predicted, the gifts went like hotcakes, particularly amongst our Junior School students who were eager to impress mum on the big day! Thanks to the P&F for again organising the stall, as it is certainly a crowd favourite amongst our students and one of the highlights of Term Two.
