Cobram AGS gathers to commemorate ANZAC Day

A significant number of individuals from our school community gathered together to observe ANZAC Day and pay tribute to the courageous men and women who have served, and continue to serve our nation during times of conflict.

It was special to witness our students and their families attending various services throughout the district, actively participating in local marches, and solemnly laying wreaths. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all those who represented our school with utmost respect.

Among the deeply moving moments of the ANZAC Day service in Cobram was the performance of the Last Post by Year 10 student Lewis Brown. Playing the Last Post on his trumpet, Lewis flawlessly conveyed the traditional bugle call that symbolises the conclusion of the day's activities. Despite the pressure, Lewis demonstrated remarkable skill and delivered an exceptional performance, also reprising it later that day at the Barooga service.
